Volunteers needed with entrepreneurial skills

E-mail Print PDF

Have you got skills in financial management or entrepreneurship? Would you like to empower poor women and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in Ghana by sharing your skills, so they can work and earn a regular income?

We need volunteers to work with us on our Livelihood Project that provides affordable loans and business skills training to poor women and PLWHA. You can read more about the project here.

We're looking for volunteers to join us in Ghana for three months from 1st June. You'll be involved in community mobilization, helping to form 'centers' of groups to apply for loans then evaluating loan applications and administering funds to successful groups.

You'll also play a role in training group members on the terms of the loan and equipping them with essential business knowledge so they can sustainably run their business and gain a long-term source of income.

If you 'd like to use your skills to encourage the economic participation of women and PLWHA then we'd love to hear from you. Take a look at our volunteering information and fill in an application form.
