AFAWI Crisis Support

AFAWI Crisis Support

Unfortunately, after careful consideration and observation of global current developments, we now came to the conclusion that the Covid-19 pandemic also affects AFAWI as an institution.

As a non-profit organisation, we finance our running costs mainly with the contribution of volunteers and private donations, but due to the exceptional situation at the moment, most of the expected sources of income are not longer guaranteed.

The lack of income leads to radical consequences for AFAWI, as monthly salaries for the staff need to be paid, costs for our office space (in particular rent) need to be covered and running projects need to be financed.

We therefore humbly request for your help in this matter, to not only preserve our jobs, but rather prevent a letting down of our project participants (especially vulnerable children and women) and therefore a failure of sustainable development work in Ghanaian communities.

Therefore the team of AFAWI evolved the principle of the so-called AFAWI crisis support.

Through assuming a monthly crisis support in the amount of 5 EUR, 10 EUR or any other chosen amount for the limited period of time of three months (May – August 2020) for AFAWI, you could help us to survive as an organisation and continue our work with limited capacity.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us.

Yedase Paaaaaaaa.

We encourage you to please "share" AFAWI with your friends, family, and co-workers on Facebook, and Instagram.  Thank you!

We appreciate you.
