Health Screen Project

Volunteer Interns from the health sector are invited to join our Health Screen Project as part of the Community Outreach Project.
Partnering with Ghana Health Services the Health Screen Project holds a day events in communities to provide free screening for communicable diseases, counselling and information sessions on health services available to community members.
​
During the 3 weeks Interns, AFAWI Staff and health practitioners will be working in two communities, to screen for HIV/AIDs, Malaria, Hepatitis B, Blood Pressure, eye screening, Breast Cancer and overall health.
To continue the sustainability of the Health Screen Project, AFAWI efforts will also make a contribution towards the building of a new community clinic.
